Web Site Templates
The following web site development tools and template options are available to owners of departmental, programmatic, and administrative web sites. These sites should incorporate the univesity template or if using phpWebsite, an appropriate Appalachian web site theme. University Templates
The Template Maker offers a downloadable file which includes HTML, CSS and images. Users should be experienced in web site management and proficient with DreamWeaver or other web editing tools. Learning Technology Services offers workshops on working with the university template in DreamWeaver.
Office of Web Communications supports template use provided the HTML and CSS code has not been changed to such a degree as to require extensive trouble shooting.

phpWebSite
phpWebSite provides a complete web site content management system. Web-based administration allows for easy maintenance of interactive, community-driven web sites. No expericence in web site management or HTML is required.
Electronic Student Services offer site hosting and, in collaboration with the Office of Web Communications, offers user training and support.
